Julian Mincher started his show jumping career at 13 and was soon sought after as a rider with a gift for handling awkward horses. He represented Great Britain aged 18 on horses that were mostly home produced.

It was at this point that Julian realised he enjoyed producing horses, and has since done so with enviable success, producing many horses to Grand Prix level with all types of riders from young amateurs to Olympic entrants. Many of his horses have gone on to jump at top levels all over the world.
