How to treat and kill thrush in horses' hooves fast?

If you've read a few of these blogs, you will have seen Giovanni come up a LOT! And I do want to explain that he is the SOLE REASON that NAKED HORSE was born as he gets EVERYTHING! He has THE most sensitive skin, which not only means he has a reaction to everything, but also that I can't use any of the 'old-school equine industry standard' products on him as they make him react more! Hence why I started to create my own range for him. Anyway, I digress...his THRUSH is the reason for this blog.

Having sensitive skin also means sensitive feet. And in true Giovanni style, he couldn't just get a mild case of thrush, he had to get a full-blown stinky, weepy, triple-sized frog case of thrush.

As you can see from the before video, it was bad. I had our farrier come out to cut out what he could and that lead to a lot of bleeding but also to a better state of hoof for treatment.

Please note that for anyone reading this that has not had much experience with hoof thrush, it's not always necessary to have the farrier cut out thrush. G was already due the farrier so the timing was perfect but if he wasn't I would have cleaned the hoof myself and continued with treatment.
